*Characteristics of an Excel Filter*

Basically, a filter is a tool used to separate contaminants from a gas or liquid.A filter also is classified into two types according to filter media structure,the Fiber type filter and Membrane type filter. Furthermore, a filter is selected by its compatibility to chemicals and solvents. Up to now, these characteristics have been the limits of picking the right filter. Excel filters has an abundant array of filter series and grades that can provide the most suitable filter for the job.

*Fiber Type Filter*

By combining different filter media with different filter ratings(filter media openings)
would give a filter that can perform from normal filtration to sub-micron filtration.
Also, this fiber media combination filter would sustain a much longer usage life.

*Membrane Type Filter*

Very fine PTFE and PES(Poly Ether Sulfone) membranes are generally used for these filters.
Research work to make the most of these two filter characteristics is being employed.
Also, a high filtration efficiency can be acquired even for different acids and other stronger chemicals. Since our membrane filters are being rinsed with ultra pure water before shipment, there is a minute risk of having unwanted initial contamination.
