| 1.Typical Industrial Type Housings [Specification] 1) Inside and outside surfaces are generally finished by acid wash. Although, varied grinding process can be applied according to client specifications. 2)Standard piping connections are (PT,NPT) screw and flange. 3)Standard filter type that can be set on the housing is DOE type. * If specifications needed are other than the above, we shall provide them * Our housings are ESH Series, ESV Series,EFH Series,ESG Series. |
| 2. Sanitary Housings [Outline] Parts and surfaces in contact with fluid are even and smooth. All parts and surfaces has a structure for easy dismantling and washing. [Usage] These are used in chemical industry processes for medical/food production and also in electronics industries. In recent years, o-ring seal filters usage have become more popular due to the increasing anxiety of sealing capabilities using gasket sealed filters. [Specification] 1) Although #400 buffer finish is standard, finish by electrolysis grinding or other process can be provided. 2)Standard piping connections are IDF union or flange. 3)Standard filter type that can be set on the housing is O-ring SOE type. *If specifications needed are other than the above, we shall provide them. *Our housings are ERT Series, and ERL Series. |

3.Housing Structure and Characteristics 1)Single plastic housing *Double-sided seal type(EAS/EAP Series) Since filter height allowance is limited, precaution is needed during setting and tightening * Head and case type Filter height allowance is also limited and sealing is adjusted by tightening the head. 2. Spring seal type(EFH/ESV/ESH Series) *Since the load on seal surfaces are very much stable, these housings are suited for filters which have permissible height allowances or transformation adjustments like a wound type filter. Generally, height dimension allowances are large. *Since, sealing is achieved by applying direct pressure on the caps, setting the filter is simple Caution should be observed on the seal area for filters having large height deviations. 3. Spindle Type (ERP Series) *Since height dimension permissible allowance is quite small, sealing condition must be checked on each spindle during filter setting. *Seal edge ranges from 35-44 mm in diameter or smaller, so filters with large inner diameters must be set with caution to avoid leakage at seal contact. *Since each spindle is provided with a nut for sealing as tightened, filter setting is a little complicated. When dealing with filters having varied height deviations, caution must be observed. *Since the entire channel volume runs through within the inside diameter portion of the filter, housing resistance or pressure drop is high. 4. Other housing types *Housings for liquid/liquid separation and air/liquid separation Liquid flow is usually from inside to outside of the filter. During separation of dense liquids, the filter is allowed to be suspended.
