Useally Chinese New year's Day falls between the first 10 days of February,
in the coldest time of a year in Japan.
This year Chinese New Year's Day fell on January 22,
China and many Asian countries are grandly celebrating Chinese New Year's Day.
As a greeting of New Year's Day, we say "Shin Shun" in Japanese which means
the beginning of Spring.
It seems real to us that Spring starts just in this coldest time.
In January, I had attended many New Years' Party and I had heard about
the prospects of this year from our customers.
As for the construction machinery industry, business looks very good.
Most of companies in this field are being pulled by the Chinese and North American
market, as rapid business growth are achieved in these regions.
Yamashin is also greatly affected by this trend and it seems that this year's targets
and plans will be over-achieved substantially. There is even a feeling that production
capacities in our manufacturing sector may not well compensate the existing growth
or need.
Plans and targets are very useful because results are not consistent with them.
I judge the situations with the careful observation and by reading the difference
between the results and targets.
It is very important to take measures and act promptly to meet the new situation.
It is said that for the next several years, the Chinese and North American market
will continue its underlying expansion.
With this situation on hand, Yamashin will try its best and pull our resources
together for the future prosperity.
We shall not leave our guards down, though everything around us seems all right.
Our motto of this year is "Quick Response to Your Needs."
I hope your continued patronage and support for the Yamashin Filter Group.
Thank you
