Last month, my wife came down with an illness and she had to go to the hospital.
Since the case was an emergency, in spite of being late in the evening, I had to
make a call and consulted with my friend, who is a physician.
He took a degree as a Medcial Doctor at Tokyo University and now, he is
a chief neurosurgeon of a hospital in Tokyo.
He did not answer promptly, but the next day, he gave me a call after consulting
with his colleagues, my wife's case.
I really owe a great deal to my friends.
I was in the same class with him in a general education course at Tokyo University
and we had really enjoyed our school days together.
After graduation, I only saw him once in several years and lately, I have not heard
or seen him.
Knowing my selfishness, I told him,
"I'm very sorrry to call you only when I'm having problems."
He answered,
"Don't worry about it ! Our business is based on people's misfortunes."
"I always get contacted when people have problems. Such is my business."
He had really become a respectable doctor.
He performs his duties modestly, faithfully and thoughtfully.
This year our company will achieve much better results because of the
great growth of China and U.S. market.
Research & Development, Production, Sales, every division are very busy now.
Because of this very busy situation, we often become selfish and get carried away
unintentionally.
During this situation, we should never forget our gentlemanship to others.
Modestly, faithfully and thoughtfully, we would like to perform our duties.
