（"Tien Tao is Right or Wrong"）

Sorry to trouble with my personal affairs, but on May 17th, 2007, my wife's father passed away.
He was 77 years old. I cancelled all of my overseas business trips to attend his funeral.
My father-in-law lost his father at the age of 4, and while in high school lost his mother as well.
It must have been very hard for him and his sister and brother to deal with this loss at an early age. However, he was always a man of smiling, living by the creed of " Help your fellow man".
He was a city councilman and chairman of the agricultural cooperative, not because of his personal advancement, but simply only wanting to thank the favor of those who helped and took care of him in his young days. While attending his funeral procession I thought about the famous question of, "Tien Tao (Heaven) is Right or Wrong"
A long time ago in China, King Wu of Zhou defeated Yin Dynasty and established Zhou Dynasty.
However, to Bayi and Shuqi, it was just a battle of depriving of counties.
Bayi and Shugi had come Zhou to spend the rest of their lives in the place, because the place of King Wen of Zhou, father of King Wu, whom they adored.
They could not be convinced by the reason of the battle.
As they said, " We do not want to eat foods grown in Zhou", they went to the deep-inside of a mountain, ate
bracken to live and died from starvation.
Confucius praised Bayi and Shuqip by saying,
"They were the only persons who persisted in their belief, never lose their ambition."
It is said " Tien Tao (Heaven) is always fair and always support good person."
Why did Bayi and Shuqi die from starvation, even though they pursisted in their clean belief ?

From a few years ago my father-in-law had senile dementia and was in a hospital alone.
Of course, I can not compare my father-in low to Bayi and Shuqi, but I think he was worth to have had better life in his last years. He lived his life with the creed of "Help your fellow man".
On the other hand, the Yi-King, the Book of Changes, says
" If the man or woman do good deeds, his or her descendant will be rewarded."
Once upon a time, there was a person named Yohei in Fujian, China.
His family was a ferryman generation by generation.
One day, very bad flood destroyed houses around the area and kills tons of people.
People living in village down the river took drowned people's belongings, but a great grand father and grand father of Yohei did not pay any attention to the belongings.
They rather tried to help as many people as possible.
People ridiculed them.
There was a disciplinant of Buddhism, who could tell fortunes like God. He told the father of Yohei,
"Your father and grand father did very good deeds, so your descendants would be rewarded very much.
Bury their bodies to a certain place."
After that Yoei was born. As he was born, his family gradually became rich. Around the age of 20, he passed Chinese governmental recruitment exam and got a top position in the government.
His great grand father and grand father awarded high official rank as well, and his all descendants' family became rich and produced many talented persons.
" If the man or woman do good deeds, his or her descendant will be rewarded."
If my father-in-law didn't be rewarded so much which reflects his good deeds in his life, he may be left his rewards to his descendants.
The 52nd statement of accounts of YAMASHIN-FILTER CORP will announced officially in June.
Both the sale amounts and profits may be recorded the highest.
This result may be due to the good deeds of my father-in-law who loved his daughter very much.
"May his soul rest in peace." , I really wished from my heart.
