On June 29th, 2007, our General Meeting of Stockholders was held where the 52nd business term's financial earnings statements were announced.
YAMASHIN-FILTER CORP. posted sales of 7.2 Billion JPY, sales profit earnings of roughly 800 Million JPY and before tax earnings of approximately 882 Million JPY.
This posting of earnings and sales amounts surpasses our company's previous record.
Our company's consolidated balance sheet shows earnings of roughly 9.5 Billion JPY, sales profits of roughly 1.1 Billion JPY and before tax profits of roughly 1.2 Billion JPY.
All of these earnings also surpassed our company's previous all time high. I would like to sincerely thank our employees and our business partners for their never-ending support and for accomplishing this milestone.
Even with various risks such as the volatility of material costs, YAMASHIN-FILTER CORP.
has been able to steadily grow with the construction machinery industry.
With the construction machinery market continuing to grow, high precision filters will become increasingly important in the marketplace, an area that I believe YAMASHIN-FILTER CORP.
will excel in. Additionally, in China and Asia, where the predominance of genuine filters will become increasingly important, we will work to continuing developing genuine parts seminars for our customers that focus on protecting this market.
We will also be expanding our industrial filter group by expanding our product line of filtration units used on wind gear boxes and other industrial machinery.
It is necessary for us to take advantage of this blessed business period for our company.
We will focus more than ever on our commitment to our customers, the development and proposing unique filtration products, increasing our manufacturing capacity, protecting the aftermarket, perfecting our service network, strengthening our internal control systems, all of which will be the driving force behind our strong business plan.
Without doubt we are jostling many various projects such as the moving of our development center to our Saga factory, the building of a new factory in Thailand, the establishment of a new office in China, the expansion of our Cebu, Philippines factory and our listing on the JASDAQ*.
Indeed this business term holds key turning points for our company.
It can be said that this time can be severe and difficult, but when we are confronted by this, it is important to believe that this is the chance to capture success by doing the best we can do.
Our long range plan, future prospects and gains have been and will be a result of our own actions now. It may be difficult, but doing our best will open up the future for our company.
YAMASHIN-FILTER CORP. is now in the midst of many big changes.
We are seeking out a new higher level for our company to reach.
That being said, we must all have a change in consciousness to ensure these changes are successful.
I want everyone to understand the importance of these changes.
