A beautifully blooming flower, Fuyou, resembles a beautiful woman.
In the language of flowers, Fuyou is "the graceful love of someone".
During my recent summer vacation I had the pleasure of reading "Shin Ginn Go" explained
easily by Masahiro Yasuoka.
Shin Ginn Go" was written by Shingo Ro who is a writer in the time of Ming Dynasty China.
The meaning of the name "Shingo" means "Reinventing One's Self" and "Shingin" is a moan
of conscience. In other words, the book is about changing oneself to enrich oneself, which is
self-innovation.
This is the famous lines from the beginning of this book:
" The depth of a human mind and broad personality, these are the first class nature.
Open-heartedness bold person, these are the second class nature.
Wise clever remarks, these are the third class nature."
Essentially it is saying that a deep and rich personality is the most valuable characteristic.
The next valuable one is not fussing over details and having high caliber.
And the last one is being a smart and cleaver speaker.
A smart person could be too sharp, and a largehearted person could be too eager.
I think it is important to foster deep and rich personality.
Without maintaining the virtues of a deep rich character, you cannot become openhearted
person. Otherwise, the person would be a fake-largeherted person.
At work, a leader in any levels needs to keep his/her composure. Existence of him/her
makes things and people in order without any words or trying.
I have had many oppotunities to sit and speak at various meetings and conferences.
I sometimes felt a pressure, got nervous and cowered. In other times, I was too relaxed.
It's important we should not be bothered by a person’s social status, title, age and mood.
After all, people are people. There is nothing more or less than that.
We sometimes get afraid to do something. That is the worst thing.
We have to be humble and not to think about things too much.
However, there are many people whom I feel pressured by and be nervous to be with.
I feel defeated by not having as a large heat as they have.
I don’t get enough mind training.
Having knowledge is not enough. We have to garner insights.
Not only garner insights, we have to be highly knowledgeable, highly experienced and
put things in action based on the knowledge and experience.
When faced with hardships we must overcome, we need this ability and power.
By meeting with people and experience many things, I would like to accumulate my
knowledge and experience, and overcome any hardships.
