The outline of the housing for many filters
<The outline of the housing for many filters>
The structure of the housing which sets a filter changes with the form and the filtration purposes of a use filter.
I introduce the outline of the main housing for many filters here,
@
1. Seal structure of housing for many filters
The seal structure of filter housing is roughly divided into three parts with the form of a filter.

(1) Housing of spindle seal type
It is one of the seal structures used for housing for general industry.
In this housing, hexagon cap nuts fasten filters respectively and fix them.
Therefore, in the case of large-sized housing, this is inferior to nature of maintenance.
Since filters are fixed separatery, when reverse pressure is applied, this seal method is recommended.

@
(2) Housing of spring seal type

It is the seal structure of housing for general industry that is the general-purpose one and is excellent in workability .
The seal of two or more filters is carried out simultaneously in ‚ pressure plate.
Therefore, this is excellent in workability, such as maintenance of filter.
Each filter is set by posts as a guide, and is fixed by applying spring load to seal plate.
A filter of flat DOE (form sign F) type is used for this housing.

@
(3) Housing of 0-ring seal type
It is excellent in nature of sanitary and is used by the specification
which generally gave buff polishing and electrolytic polishing.
We recommend it to use precision filtration, such as the drink and the brewing industry
and electronics-related.
The seal of the filter is carried out by inserting O-ring part of a filter
in the set hole of housing'partition board.
As suitable form of filter, the 222 O-ring seal SOE (form signs M and W) type and
the 226 O-ring seal SOE (form codes T and P) type with the function of lock are prepared.

(2) Relation between diameter of piping and filter orifice
When choosing and designing the housing for many filters, it is necessary to make it proper housing resistance.
Fundamentally, the average flow velocity in a filter orifice is set up lower than the average flow velocity
in a pipe of a piping system.
For the purpose, a setup which takes the total cross-section area of a filter orifice
larger than a piping cross-section area is carried out.
Since the diameters of a filter orifice differ with each seal structure,
the commendable setting number of filter may also change.

(1) Spindle seal ... Filter orifice ΰƒΣ‚Q‚O
In case of seal method using post that represented by the spindle seal type,
a post stopper is required in a second side.
Therefore, a filter orifice becomes smaller than the inside diameter of the a filter.

(2) Spring seal ... Filter orificeΰƒΣ‚Q‚T
This is a ƒΣ‚Q‚T diameter of an orifice which is almost equal to the standard inside diameter of a filter.
Therefore, It accumulates and, generally sets up by the filter number of the square or more of a piping caliber
(conversion:inch).

(3) O-ring seal ... Filter orifice ΰƒΣ‚Q‚W
Inside diameter of a filter is equal to diameter of an orifice.
Although it changes somewhat with O-ring sizes, the large single orifice cross-section can be taken.

3.Characteristic of each seal structure
