Summary of single-pass test

Our company's R&D department uses equipment based on the below drawing. ISO-FINE dust is constantly put into the circuit, and the filter’s pressure and number of particles of each size captured are measured. We can compare each filter’s performance in the same way. By passing a fixed amount of dust through the filter, we can investigate the filter's performance over time by accelerating the test.

Explanation of graph
The graphs separate the efficiency and pressure, so we can check the filter’s pressure, life and efficiency for each particle size. Please refer to the below graphs.

About Depth & Pleated Type Filters
Between Company A and B's depth filters (see the above graphs) and the
NP and MWE Series pleated filters, there are 4 points of comparison:
For the depth filters, along with a rise in pressure, less dust is
captured in the initial period. Therefore, the filters' performances are
not as good.
On the other hand for the pleated filters, even when the pressure
increases, the efficiency does not drop and the performance continues.
For these reasons, we recommend the pleated filters. For any detailed
questions, please contact us.
