How do I use YAMASHIN Filter Sheets?
Insert a piece of the sheet inside your mask. Make sure the sheet covers both your mouth and your nose. With rolls of YAMASHIN Filter Sheets™, first cut the roll to the desired dimensions (80 to 100 mm in length).

Do the sheets have front and back sides? How can I tell the front from the back?
The sheets have no front or back side. They perform equally well in either direction.

Can the masks and sheets be reused? How long can I continue to use them?
Both are made of YAMASHIN NANO FILTER™ material. This material can be reused after hand-washing with gentle downward motions. With rolls of YAMASHIN Filter Sheets™, we recommend cutting the roll to the desired dimensions and stitching the four sides of the cut sheet to prevent loosening or loss of shape during hand-washing.
We have confirmed that the sheets show no degradation in performance even after being washed five times.

How should I wash the masks and sheets?
Hand-wash in lukewarm water with a small amount of mild detergent. Apply gentle downward motions. Rinse thoroughly in tap water. Shape and dry in the shade.

How will I know when to replace the mask?
We recommend replacing the mask if you notice fluff on the surface or when the layers of the sheet begin to separate.
