We have developed next-generation high-performance masks, “able to capture virtually all of the fine particles” and “easy to breathe through”.
By using YAMASHIN NANO FILTER™, our proprietary nanofiber non-woven material, we have developed medical-grade*~{2} high-performance masks able to filter 99%of fine 0.1-μm particles*~{1}.
In addition to the filtering performance, the masks achieve high sealing performance and breathability with a unique three-dimensional pleated shape*~{3} that ensures a comfortable fit, allowing you to breathe easily even when you have to wear them for long periods in daily life.
*~{1} PFE test (Implemented by the Kaken Test Center, a General Incorporated Foundation) *~{2} “Medical grade” refers to a mask grade meeting the N95 standard set by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). This standard is cited in the Guideline on Maintenance of Medical Equipment and Materials in Medical Systems for new influenza and other infectious diseases,” issued by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, as one of effective mask standards. The results of PFE tests by the Kaken Test Center and BFE/VFE tests by Nelson Labs demonstrate that the filtration performance of YAMASHIN filter masks is comparable to that of N95 masks. *~{3} Patent pending |

Compared to N95 masks, which are used in medical institutions against airborne pathogens such as viruses and bacteria, our flagship model Zexeed features the same high capture efficiency but with smaller pressure drop (according to our test data).
Currently, we are continuing to develop Zexeed for certification under the Japanese DS-2 standard, which corresponds to the US NIOSH N95 standard.
