This is to notify that YAMASHIN-FILTER CORP is expected to post an extraordinary loss in the financial reports of the fiscal year ending March 31, 2015.

 

  1. Outline of extraordinary loss
    There were a few failures on a specific part of oil filters designated for large-sized engines delivered to CATERPILLAR (USA), and US$ 708, 742 (approx. JPN 85,000K) was demanded as compensation for the damages. The amount of compensation will be posted as an extraordinary loss in the 4th quarter consolidated financial reports of the fiscal year ending March 31, 2015.
  2. Impact on financial results
    The impact on the FY 2015 consolidated financial reports is not yet determined. The amount will be disclosed as soon as it is fixed.
