On March 3, 2026, YAMASHIN-FILTER CORP. was honored to welcome representatives from the Embassy of the Kingdom of Belgium in Japan. H. E. Mr. Antoine Evrard, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to Japan, and Ms. Saki Kuroda, Economic and Trade Officer, visited our Yokosuka Innovation Center for a facility tour and an exchange of views.
The visit took place in a cordial atmosphere, providing a valuable opportunity to showcase the company’s technologies and initiatives while offering guests firsthand insight into its operations. The program included an overview of the company’s machinery business, a core business for approximately 70 years, and its hydraulic filters, which hold the world’s leading market share, together with initiatives related to new business development.
Key members of the R&D team introduced the machines and evaluation equipment, followed by a tour of the Nanofiber research area.
Under the theme “Innovation Driven by Nanofiber”, participants engaged in discussions on potential applications across a wide range of fields, as well as market trends and business development in Europe, resulting in a highly productive dialogue.
Guided by its corporate philosophy of “Rokajinitsukafuru” (contribute to society through the filtration business), YAMASHIN-FILTER CORP. will continue to take on the challenge of developing materials that help address social and industrial issues by leveraging its proprietary technologies, including nanofiber, with a focus on Environment, Air Quality and Health.
