Our Senior Executive Vice President Attends “CDP Networking for Environmental Leaders”

On March 16, 2026, Director and Senior Executive Vice President Hiroaki Yamazaki participated in “CDP Networking for Environmental Leaders,” held at Tokyo Kaikan, Tokyo. The event provided an opportunity to share the latest trends in climate action and sustainability, and to exchange views and network with representatives from government, investors, and the corporate sector.

 

The program featured opening remarks by Sherry Madera, CEO of CDP Worldwide; Hideo Tomita, Trustee of CDP Worldwide and Representative Director of CDP Worldwide Japan; and Shigeharu Aoyama, State Minister of the Environment. Noriyuki Sugihara, President and CEO of Asset Management One Co., Ltd., delivered a greeting and toast, and Naoki Shigetake, COO (Chief Operating Officer) of the GX Acceleration Agency (an agency promoting a smooth transition to a decarbonized growth-oriented economic structure), offered congratulatory remarks. The event also included an awards presentation, photo session, and interviews with representatives of companies on the CDP A List.

 

Leveraging the insights gained from this event, we will continue to strengthen our response to climate change, promote decarbonization across our entire supply chain, and further enhance our disclosures.
